Return & Refund Policy

Eligibility for Returns

  • We accept returns of new cellular access equipment within 30 days from the day of delivery (see CMRA policy below).
  • Equipment must be in its original condition, with all parts and packaging included.
  • We do not accept returns of broken equipment or equipment with missing parts. Damaged equipment will be subject to a 100% restocking fee.
  • SIM cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable. 
  • If a return shipping label is provided, and used, then the shipping charges incurred by Travel Data are non-refundable. 

Return Process

  • Customers must initiate a return through live chat, or by emailing support@traveldatawifi.com.
  • Once the return is approved, follow the provided instructions to send the equipment back.

Refunds and Store Credit

  • Customers can choose between a refund or store credit based on their preference if completed within 30 days of the charge, less processing fees. After 30 days from the charge, Travel Data will issue account credit only.
  • Refunds will not include shipping charges, any Travel Data shipping labels provided will be deducted from any refund.
  • All refunds are subject to a 3% credit card processing surcharge for all credit card based transactions. There is no processing fee for ACH debit transaction refunds. There is no processing fee for Store Credit.

Refund to Credit Card Processing Time:

  1. Refunds will be processed within 10 days from the date the returned item is delivered back to Travel Data. Please note that refunds do not include shipping charges and may be subject to a 3% credit card processing surcharge for credit card transactions.

Refund to Store Credit/ACH Processing Time:

  1. Refunds will be processed within 10 days from the date the returned item is delivered back to Travel Data. Please note that refunds do not include shipping charges. 

Fees and Timeframes

  • No restocking fee if the return is made within the first 30 days.
  • A $50 restocking fee applies for returns made between 31 and 120 days.
  • Returns are not accepted after 120 days from the day of delivery.

Damaged Equipment Charge

  • A fee of up to 100% of the cost of the equipment will be assessed for any returned equipment that is damaged or missing parts.

Return Policy Extension for CMRA Address Shipments

  1. For customers who utilize a recognized Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) address for their shipments, we understand that additional time may be needed to receive your order. Therefore, if your order is shipped to a CMRA address, you will be granted an additional 7 days to return your equipment. This extension is to account for the transit time from the CMRA to your final destination.
  2. Should you require more than the 7 additional days, please provide proof of delivery to your final location from your CMRA. This documentation will help us ensure that your return is processed smoothly and without delay.

Processing Time Notice:

Please note that returned items are shipped from you, the customer, directly to a third-party warehouse for inspection and verification first. This means there may be a delay between when your tracking number shows that an item is delivered and when Travel Data is notified that it is ready for processing. A tracking number marked as delivered does not necessarily mean that we have the item available for return processing immediately.
