NRadio First Time Setup

NRadio First Time Setup

Setting up your NRadio router for the first time is quick and easy! While it will automatically set the correct options, you may need to adjust some items yourself. This guide will help you with the most common items.

Step 1: Access the Router’s Admin Interface

  1. Connect to the Router:

    • Ensure your device (PC, laptop, or smartphone) is connected to the NRadio router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable. Ignore any messages of "No Internet" - you are setting the connection up now, so this is normal and can be ignored.
  2. Open a Web Browser:

    • Launch your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
  3. Enter Router’s IP Address:

    • In the address bar, type in the default IP address for the NRadio router: 192.168.66.1
  4. Login to the Router:

    • You will be prompted to enter a username and password. The default credentials are usually:
      • Username: admin
      • Password: admin or password (refer to your router’s manual if these don’t work)

Step 2: Navigate to the Advanced Settings

  1. Access Advanced Settings:

    • Once logged in, look for an option labeled Advanced Settings or Network Settings in the main menu.
  2. Find TTL Settings:

    • Within the advanced settings, locate the TTL Settings

Step 3: Set TTL to 65

  1. Change TTL Value:

    • In the TTL settings section, you will see a field where you can input the TTL value. Enter 65.

  1. Save Changes:

    • After entering the TTL value, ensure you save the settings. Look for a Save or Apply button and click it.

Step 4: Reboot the Router

  1. Restart the Router:

    • To apply the new TTL settings, you need to restart your router. You can do this through the router’s interface, usually found under System Tools or Maintenance.
  2. Confirm Reboot:

    • Confirm any prompts asking if you want to reboot the router.

Step 5: Verify the Settings

  1. Reconnect:

    • Once the router has restarted, reconnect your device to the router’s Wi-Fi and test the connection.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Forgot Login Credentials: If you cannot log in, refer to the router’s manual for the default credentials or perform a factory reset (note: this will erase all custom settings).
  • Cannot Find TTL Setting: If the TTL setting is not visible, check the router’s manual or support website for guidance.
  • Changes Not Applying: Ensure you saved the settings correctly and rebooted the router.
  • Manually Set the APN: From the Cellular menu option, set your options as shown below:
