Check the Sim Card Holder

Check the Sim Card Holder

Sometimes the sim card can become misaligned or loose from travel or movement. Check to ensure your sim card is firmly, and properly installed in the device.

4G Smart Router:

First, power off your 4G Smart Router by removing the power cord. The sim card is located on the bottom of the device, below an access door. Open the access door and slide the metal sim card retainer open, remove the sim card, replace the sim card, and re-lock the metal slide. Replace the access door, and re-apply power to the device. Once it has fully restarted, test your connection. Chat with us for further assistance if your connection is not restored.

Open the bottom compartment. Slide the metal clip over the SIM card slot to the right to unlock it. Tilt it up to the right and lay in your MicroSIM card. (Be careful not to pop out the NanoSIM if your card is perforated.) Note the orientation of the notch to the lower left.
